The demand is so great that a number of performing cabaret groups travel each night from club to hotel and to resort to present a rehearsed one hour show.
The Paradise Complex is Basically the gay center of Patong, the area has heaps of small bars, chic cafes and little restaurants. Several of the bars put on shows every night. Most are free but expect you to buy a drink.
The Royal Paradise complex hosts Tangmoo Cabaret with several shows a night. The most popular transvestite cabaret happens each night at the Boat Bar which mixes a floor show with a disco.
Shows start around 10 pm.
